RESPONSIBILITIES
  •  Participate in multiple projects focused on preparing and understanding data for predictive modeling and machine learning.
  •  Conduct exploratory data analysis, profiling, and reconciliation to understand data quality.
  •  Create and revise datasets based on input from product managers, data scientists, and actuaries.
  •  Harmonize data from multiple customers and develop new data features.
  •  Research and understand how data is created and updated within our systems.
  •  Create and manage data assets, focusing on simple, scalable, and reusable code with clear documentation.
  •  Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and architects to solve problems and develop innovative solutions.
  •  Work on additional assignments, including new feature development and research into external data.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • § 5+ years of relevant experience with a strong passion for solving complex data problems.
  • § Expert-level SQL skills, including advanced functions, table design, and performance tuning.
  • § · Hands-on experience building datasets for predictive modeling and in-depth data profiling and analysis.
  • § · Familiarity with P&C policy administration and claims processing concepts.
  • § · Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and dbt.
  • § · Experience with communicating data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • § · Self-motivated with the ability to manage and execute projects independently.
  • § · A strong interest in using AI and data-driven insights to foster innovation.
  • § Data engineering experience using SQL, Spark, or AWS Glue.
