RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work on a variety of actuarial projects, applying your skills across different disciplines
  • Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and understand complex data from relational databases, ensuring data integrity for actuarial analyses.
  • Apply advanced statistical software (R, Python, etc.) to perform quantitative analysis, including developing and implementing findings from predictive modeling.
  • Collect, analyze, and effectively communicate complex actuarial results and insights to a range of stakeholders, enabling informed business decisions.
  • Create clear and compelling data visualizations using tools like Tableau to present analytical findings.
  • Contribute to the team's growth by fostering learning and providing mentorship to junior actuarial staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • § Minimum of 3 years of actuarial experience, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
  • § ACAS or near ACAS
  • § Extensive experience with SQL and a strong understanding of relational databases.
  • § Advanced knowledge of R, Python, or other statistical software.
  • § Proficiency with Tableau or similar data visualization software.
