RESPONSIBILITIES
  • · Apply advanced quantitative methods (statistical modeling, machine learning, simulations, optimization) to analyze complex data and build predictive models;

  • · Develop, calibrate, validate, and stress-test probabilistic cyber risk models for (re)insurance and financial services.
  • · Create methods to quantify the financial impact of cyber risks for individual entities and large portfolios, with a focus on digital/physical supply chain risks.
  • · Build tools to visualize cyber event impacts.
  • · Source and refine data features to enhance probabilistic risk models.
  • · Integrate and automate modeling processes into production pipelines.
  • · Establish best practices for data validation, feature selection, and catastrophe exposure modeling.
  • · Promote best practices in designing a flexible and rapid modeling framework.
  • · Present results to stakeholders and collaborate on technical levels with clients.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • · MS or a Phd in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • · Expertise in deep learning models, clustering, anomaly detection, and interpretability.
  • · 5+ years in statistical data analysis, feature engineering, visualization, and hypothesis testing.
  • · Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a commitment to attracting top talent.
  • · Experience with diverse datasets
