RESPONSIBILITIES
  •  Lead a team of data engineers managing multiple concurrent projects focused on data preparation and pipeline development for predictive modeling and generative AI. Responsibilities include:
  • · Conducting data interrogation, exploratory analysis, profiling, and reconciliation.
  • · Developing, revising, and monitoring data pipelines in collaboration with product managers, data scientists, and actuaries.
  • · Creating, testing, and maintaining data features for ongoing use.
  •  Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, analysts, and architects to address challenges, develop innovative solutions, and report on project progress.
  •  Build and maintain data assets, datasets, features, and code with emphasis on simplicity, scalability, reusability, and comprehensive documentation.
  •  Take on additional responsibilities beyond project-specific tasks, including:
  • · Developing new features.
  • · Researching external data sources.
  • · Providing user feedback on new products and tools in development.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • · 8+ years in data engineering
  • · Advanced expertise in building datasets and features for predictive modeling.
  • · Proficiency in SQL, including advanced functions, table design, view creation, stored procedures, scripting, and performance tuning.
  • · Strong data profiling and statistical analysis skills.:
  • · Extensive experience developing ML data pipelines and managing feature stores.
  • · In-depth knowledge of Python.
  • · Comprehensive experience with AWS data tools
