RESPONSIBILITIES
  • · Improve longevity and collateral systems and processes
  • · Manage global products with longevity risk
  • · Use analytics to leverage inforce value
  • · Support new business growth
  • · Maintain and develop collateral models
  • · Ensure compliance with treaty requirements
  • · Analyze collateral needs and provide detailed explanations
  • · Manage external retrocession arrangements and reporting
  • · Support new retrocession agreements
  • · Analyze inforce file data changes
  • · Conduct experience analysis and adjust assumptions
  • · Develop performance metrics from inforce studies
  • · Support longevity capital management initiatives
  • · Participate in cross-functional optimization projects
  • · Innovate inforce processes for scalability and improved controls
  • · Utilize visualization tools for reporting
  • · Assess risks for new transactions
  • · Review and provide feedback on risk analysis and treaty documents
  • · Maintain guidelines for new longevity transactions
  • · Monitor risk metrics and limits
  • · Escalate issues with actionable recommendations
  • · Manage junior staff and co-op student performance
  • · Support staff development and team engagement
  • · Assist in the hiring process for co-op students

QUALIFICATIONS
  • · Qualified actuary
  • · Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or demonstrated knowledge of investments and capital markets
  • · 5+ years of experience
  • · Experience in actuarial modelling software such as Prophet and/or AXIS
  • · Advanced knowledge of life, health, and/or annuity products
  • ->SALARY: 110-145k
