RESPONSIBILITIES
  • bridges the gap between deep actuarial technicalities and hands-on underwriting leadership to drive long-term profitability and sound decision-making.
  • · Actuarial & Analytics Lead reserve calculations and pricing for auto products; provide effective challenge on loss provisions; manage IFRS 17 reporting; automate data structures and validate integrity; and provide all actuarial inputs for income recognition.
  • · Underwriting- Develop and implement underwriting guidelines; collaborate with sales and accounting on product structure and acceptability criteria; ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • · Set strategic direction for risk management; mentor and train analysts; drive process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Profile Requirements
  • ACAS or near FCAS
  • 5+ years of actuarial experience
  • Strong background in the P&C space and proficiency in Excel and SQL is mandatory;
  • open-source modeling experience (R/Python) is a major asset.
