RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide expertise in modeling technology-driven exposure and large-scale peril events, enhancing underwriting judgment and overall risk insights.
  •  Conduct model performance assessments by developing benchmarks, validating assumptions, and presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  •  Advance modeling capabilities by applying actuarial techniques to build and enhance cyber, man-made accumulation, and natural catastrophe risk models.
  •  Act as a subject-matter expert
QUALIFICATIONS
  •  5+ years of progressive experience.
  •  Advanced user of commercial technology-risk modeling platforms with strong familiarity of industry standards and methodologies.
  •  Strong foundation in statistical analysis, probabilistic simulation, and stochastic modeling approaches.
  •  Skilled in programming languages such as Python, R, or comparable analytical tools.
  •  Knowledgeable in man-made accumulation risk and current research surrounding emerging exposure trends.
  •  Proven ability to apply actuarial techniques to catastrophe risk assessment and analytical modeling initiatives.
