RESPONSIBILITIES
  • · Apply data science techniques to enhance catastrophe modeling, exposure management, and risk assessment.
  • · Work with catastrophe models (e.g., RMS, AIR, CoreLogic) to support underwriting and portfolio optimization.
  • · Develop and refine data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics tools to improve risk analysis and decision-making.
  • · Collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams to integrate model outputs into pricing and risk selection.
  • · Utilize machine learning and statistical models to improve predictive insights on catastrophe risk.
  • · Perform data cleansing, transformation, and analysis to support exposure management.
  • · Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments in catastrophe risk.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • · Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, or similar languages for data analysis and modeling.
  • · Experience with catastrophe modeling software (RMS, AIR, CoreLogic) is highly desirable.
  • · Knowledge of insurance, reinsurance, or risk management principles is a plus.
  • · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • · Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholder
