RESPONSIBILITIES
  • leverage expertise in catastrophe risk assessment and modeling best practices to propose and execute innovative analytical solutions supporting
  • · - Demonstrate expertise in catastrophe models and related tools, proposing and executing innovative solutions with minimal oversight.
  • · Lead risk analytics functions, mentor junior staff, and maintain high productivity in geospatial analytics, programming, and tool development. Continuously grow in catastrophe modeling, statistics, and financial modeling.
  • · Analyze property insurance data, assess data quality, and manipulate large datasets for catastrophe models
  • · Present loss estimates through reports, exhibits, and presentations.
  • · Apply statistical and financial modeling to manipulate model data and establish unique risk views. Ensure reliable analytics through thorough QA and support peer reviews.
  • · Lead exposure management, event response, and related analytics.
  • · Perform accumulation analytics, prepare exposure reports, and summarize exposure movements.
  • · Support standard capital modeling, loss accumulation, and climate change impact assessment on exposures.
  • · risk analytics and training, maintain vendor model inventories, and contribute to market intelligence efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • · - Produce accurate and professional reports, exhibits, and presentations.
  • · Proficient in Excel, SQL, GIS, and programming (R/Python preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Catastrophe Modeling and Analytics.
  • Experience showing progressive experience leading catastrophe risk analytics
